I was hoping this was going to happen. There's a Big Room mix of Pink's So what done by no other than the wonderful Edson Pride. It clocks in at 9:35 minutes. Nice mix. Thanks to ASL.
Thunderpuss (Chris Cox and Barry Harris) are the best remixers of all time. Having reached #1 at Billboard's Dance Charts and my own Club Anthem Charts over and over again, including their stellar mixes of Amber's The need to be naked.
Leann Rimes 3rd single is called What I cannot change. It's been remixed by Scotty K. He does a wonderful job on capturing the beauty of Leann's vocals. It's a stellar remix and very beautiful mix. Nothing better to do by Leann Rimes is at #16 (and climbing) for the week of 11/17-23 '08 on my Top Radio Tracks of the Week and it's the 1st hit single on my Radio Chart. Nothing better to do reached only #14 on the Country Charts in 2007.
I Love this mix. The Jamie J Sanchez Club Mix of Get Up by Mary Mary is one of the best mixes of 2008. It sounds just as good as Victor Calderone's mix of Shackles (Praise You).
It's wonderful to hear dance mixes of reggaeton tracks. There are a few dance mixes of Wisin y Yandel tracks. On my Club Anthems Top 50 Club Tracks of the Week, The South Lovers Mix of Pam Pam reached #7 on the week of 6/30-7/06 '08.
This has got to be the tribal track of 2008. It's a must for all DJs to have in their mix set. It's full of energy and tribal beats. Vamonos The Gustavo Scorpio Mix hasn't debuted on my Club Anthems Chart yet. Also he's done a great remix of Rihanna's Disturbia and Shakira's Pienso en ti, which both mixes hasn't debuted yet.
Aleko's does a wonderful mix of PCD's I Hate This Part. Aleko already has a #1 hit in 2008 with his mix of Slow Down Baby by Christina Aguilera. The Aleko Mix of Slow Down Baby reached #1 on the week of 7/28-08/03 '08. Aleko currently has a mix of Alicia Keys Like you'll never see me again on my Top 50 Club Anthems Chart of the Week. It's at #19 for the week of 11/03-09 '08. The original version of I hate this part is very nice.
Mercedes Sosa has a future #1 in my Club Anthems Chart with the Dudi Sharon mix of Senor Ten piedad de nosotros. The original version of STPDN is amazing and very spiritual. Mercedes Sosa recently did a duet with Shakira at The Alas Concert "A concert for the Children" in Argentina on May 17 2008.
Bryan Reyes remixes Christina Aguilera's Keeps getting better and it sounds great. His friends say it's the best mix they've heard of Keeps getting better.
Bryan Reyes does it again with his wonderful tribal mix of Madonna's Voices. Most definitely the Bryan Reyes Dark Arabian mix is one of the best hard pounding tribal mix of 2008. In my Top Club Anthems of 2007, Bryan Reyes highest charting mix was his Peak-Hour Boxapella mix of Maneater by Nelly Furtado which reached #2 (#1 was Beyonce & Shakira Beautiful Liar The Rafael Lelis Tribal to R&B mix) on the week of 11/05-11 '07 and it was the #48 track of 2007. Rafael's mix of Voices hasn't debuted yet in my Top 50 Club Anthems of the Week.
Gloria Trevi is back on my charts with the live version of Como si fuera la primera vez. She performed it recently on El Show de los Suenos. Gloria Trevi is one of the best singer/songerwriter in the history of music. Some compare her to Janis Joplin. I hope to cover one of her songs one day. CSFLPV 2008 debuted on my Top Radio Tracks of the week on 11/03-09 '08 at #25. This is her amazing live performance -
The talented Celine Dion has been remixed by Rafael Lelis. In 2007 his mix of Ciara's Like a boy was the top #6 track of 2007 in my Top 100 Club Anthems of 2007. I think the Rafael Lelis Anthem mix is a better mix than Hex Hector's mix which was more europop dance while Rafael's mix is more tribal. I hope to do a duet with Celine Dion one day.
Brandy's comeback track is called Right Here. It's finally being played here in Los Angeles. It's one of the best tracks of 2008. Bryan Reyes does a club mix that is great. Newcomer Geo Lezzi does an amazing job on his take of Right Here. Geo's mix is harder. An absolute must for Clubs. The Geo Lezzi Club Mix keeps the beauty of the original.
Alanis Morissette's classic Uninvited gets remixed by the Freemasons. Freemasons keeps the piano of the original and uses Alanis's full vocals on their take of Uninvited. Great remix. The Freemason mix of Uninvited reached #2 on my Club Charts on the week of 5/26/08-6/01/08. #1 was another updated version Technotronic's Pump Up The Jam The Ralphi Rosario Mix.
